A continuous collaboration with brand Taanbaan since 2007 has been a journey filled with opportunities, providing a genuine connection to the land through the use of humble cotton material. Cultivated in the pockets of Andhra Pradesh, India, this regional cotton (overlooked by the modern industrial age due to its short staple fiber quality) emerges as a sustainable gem. Requiring minimal water, devoid of pesticides, and playing a crucial role in the local ecology and insect world, this cotton variety became a focal point of creative exploration driven by growing sustainability needs.
